The toothpaste recommended by my dentist so I guess it must be good. Slightly expensive for such a small tube.

    Saved My Teeth
I am a serious teeth grinder. For years, I’ve been grinding my teeth and one day I experienced such painful sensitivity that I went in for a dentist’s appointment.

    It works beautifully for me
Acid wear used to leave my teeth feeling gritty like fine sandpaper. Using Pronamel has helped a great deal – now my teeth are smooth to my tongue.

    Misleading advertising
Everything GSK claims is true of Pronamel is equally true of regular Sensodyne or Crest Sensivity or good old flouride toothpaste.

Yovela – you are misinformed. ProNamel is a unique toothpaste in that it was designed in a pharmaceutical lab to be just about the most perfect toothpaste you can get, especially if you have any tooth sensitivity. Most toothpastes have many “filler” ingredients intended to meet consumer needs, such as thickening agents to make it thicker, abrasive agents to have whitening claims, etc. Most of these agents are positively charged ions. Here’s the deal – Fluoride is a negatively charged ion. The way that fluoride works is that it is attracted to positively charged things, such as your teeth – that’s how fluoride reaches and gets absorbed by your teeth – but with alot of ingredients that are also positively charged, they basically bind to the fluoride right in the tube! Thus, decreasing the amount of fluoride that is available for the teeth. ProNamel was made without many of these ingredients that bind to fluoride, thus increasing the amount of fluoride available for teeth – thus is actually does a better job of rehardening enamel and protecting the teeth from the effects of dietary acid better than just about all other toothpastes – including Crest and Colgate
